An auto club is a great organization to be involved in for a number of reasons. First of all, members pay dues to the club and the club offers a variety of benefits to its members in return. This can be anything from mapping out the best routes for a road trip to roadside assistance. There are even auto clubs that are dedicated to specific types of vehicles. Some consist of owners of antique cars, sports cars, pickup trucks, or cars by a particular manufacturer. Other auto clubs will service any automobile owner who wishes to pay dues as a member.

There are many things that auto clubs offer their members. Some may find that when their children become of age to learn to drive, the auto club will give them the opportunity to take driving lessons. For mom and dad, there are such services as breakdown service and even legal advice. It is definitely a handy thing to have because you never know when you will need it.

Arizona is known for its rich cultural heritage. It is also called the Grand Canyon State. It is known for its breathtaking locations, abundant wildlife, golf courses and health spas. Grand Canyon National Park is located in northwestern Arizona about 75 miles north of the cities of Flagstaff and Williams. The park covers well over one million acres and is more than twice the size of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.Grand Canyon National Park is heavily visited for most of the year and it is imperative to plan ahead for lodging, camping, backcountry permits, mule trips or other winderness adventures. Persons planning to visit only for the day should arrive early as parking is limited. Besides sightseeing, hiking is probably the most popular activity in the canyon. There are 400 total miles of hiking trials in Grand Canyon of which only about 31 miles receive continual maintenance.

Being a twenty four hour city, a visitor may find that seven days in New York just isn’t enough time to take in everything it has to offer. One of the most important places to see is the Empire State Building; it has a facade that is famous around the world. Of course, many people prefer the view form the Rockefeller Center which is a little higher, but it can be difficult to see anything when there is bad weather. Another famous landmark, the Statue of Liberty cannot be seen properly unless it is from the river; however delays can be long here so if you are on a tight schedule, stop off at Ellis Island and view the statue from there.

The Bahamas is a favorite vacation spot and there are first class amenities for tourists. The most prestigious of these is The Atlantis, a large resort containing a casino, located at Paradise Island, Nassau. The Atlantis Paradise Island is a major employer in the area and has a staff of approximately 6,000 people. The local economy benefits from this resort a great deal.
