Rome’s world famous fountains are rich with history that is ancient and full of majesty and genius. There are fountains that date as far back as the first century when Rome ruled the world. But some of the most magnificent fountains date to the 18th century Renaissance period which filled Rome with wonderful outdoor art.

Unlike most cities, fountains in Rome are far from plain and utilitarian. Rome differs from anywhere else on earth because just as the city itself is a work of art, the fountains that grace the streets are wonderful displays of artistic talent.

Of the many fountains, the Trevi is no doubt the one most recognizable. But there is plenty of competition for your time in Rome if you do nothing more than go on a tour of its delightful fountains.

When you are going away one of the most important factors to consider is the accommodation you will be staying in. Finding the finest accommodation possible will definitely help to make your vacation a lot more pleasurable and so it is important to take your time when looking at your options.

What to Think About With Accommodation

There are a number of things to think about with accommodation and ideally you want to book as early as possible. One tip which you may not know about is to look at hotels specifically designed with business visitors in mind. This is because business visitors only tend to travel and stay with them during weekdays. So weekends will be classed as off peak and it will be cheaper to stay there. So if you are travelling abroad with the family then business hotels may save you a little money.

If you’ve never attended a corporate dinner aboard a cruise ship, you are in for a treat. These special business events are usually held on small cruise ships or yachts that have been chartered specifically for the event, providing the opportunity for a lot of fun and a very unique business environment.

For many people who are about to attend their first cruise dinner, what to wear can be a bit of an issue. Obviously a cruise is a slightly different situation than a private dinner at an elegant restaurant and yet, it’s a corporate event, so many are confused as to how formal they need to be.

In general, chartered cruises are quite elite and elegant. Attending a business dinner on one usually calls for fairly formal clothing, but you will also need to be comfortable.

A cup of tea is a bit like a little miracle, it can restore the soul and spirit in just a few minutes. The same can be said about a great bed and breakfast, as well. And plenty of innkeepers offer both special accommodations and afternoon teas. In fact, many innkeepers are hosting specialty teas to celebrate everything from a bridal or baby shower to a book club meeting or a birthday party. The seasoned innkeeper can set the scene with beautiful decor, fine china and delectable savories and sweets. The toughest choice you’ll have to make is whether to partake of Darjeeling or Earl Grey.
