Orlando is the sixth largest city of Florida and is also said to be its largest inland city, located in Central Florida in the northeast of Tampa. The climate in Orlando couldn’t be better which means the theme park center of the world has plenty of family vacations going on all year round. No wonder, as there are lots of fun things to do in Orlando.

Tourism is one of the city’s biggest income sources. A number of people who enter the area annually is estimated at stunning 52 million. In order to meet the requirements for the family vacation capital of the USA, Orlando is constantly developing at a rapid pace.

Smugglers who take treasured Jingdezhen porcelain relics out of China have been a serious problem in the country for decades. However, for many Chinese, one name is the most notorious of all.

Let’s call him Michael Hatcher (pseudonym), who tarnished his name by allegedly destroying and stealing tons of ancient Jingdezhen porcelain.

He is the one who salvaged the sunken ship Tek Sing, dubbed the Titanic of the Orient, in the South China Sea in 1999.

The South China Sea holds some of the finest ancient Chinese art that was once bound for Europe. The trade routes here were extremely dangerous, so many ships ended up on the seafloor well before they reached their destination. the Tek Sing was one of these ships.

River cruises are some of the most pleasurable ways to travel, and a Mississippi cruise is no exception.

When deciding on a Mississippi cruise, you have a series of different alternatives. Besides the obvious ones, such as length and itinerary, you should also spare a thought to whether you want a historical or themed trip, and on if you prefer spending time in towns and cities, or in the unspoilt countryside.

A paddle-wheel steamboat is certainly the best way to cruise and at the same time explore the history of the Mississippi River. You get to see the “showboat” amusements of the past. You will visit cities such as New Orleans, Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis, and visit sights such as the latter’s Gateway Arch. You will taste excellent Cajun food on board.

Travel Tips For Germany

by Graham McKenzie

A trip to Germany for U.S citizens will require a valid passport and if you are planning on staying for more than 90 days on business you will be required to obtain a visa. Non European union members will be required to have a valid passport to enter Germany as well.

The majority of people in Germany speak German but English is spoken by many as well. Learning German is a great idea before you go, at least enough to order your meal or ask for directions if you get lost. You will find that a town that is not used to many tourists will have less English speaking locals.

Many vacationers to the resort town of Park City Utah ask the question, “How do I find a place to stay”? While Park City does have a few brand name hotels like Marriott and Best Western, the majority of accommodations are made up of privately owned rentals.

These privately owned homes and condos are available for rent through professional management companies or directly through the homeowner. You may even make a reservation through a booking company or central reservations agency which typically takes a commission of up to 25% from the property manager or homeowner.

Experienced visitors often visit the Park City Chamber website to search for information on property managers who offer condos and homes for nightly rental. The chamber is a great resource but they only display the name of the property manager and the user has to search each manager’s website individually and compare potential rentals from one site to the next.

If I was free to buy a condo anyplace in this country it would be Perdido Key Florida. There are a few reasons. Number one is that there are awfully few hotels in the vicinity, so you can rent them out. The view on the coastline is just delightful over the Gulf of Mexico. You are close to both Alabama and Florida and even Mississippi.

I previously traveled to this area for the Mullet Toss. It is a beach bash where people throw a fish from Florida to the Alabama line. It was a extraordinary beach party, with a lot of stuff to do. The thing I love about this area is that it is so informal. You can go all over the place in just a bathing suit, or a t shirt. You dont need to be all fancied up to go out to eat.

The ski resorts in Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado have been competing over the last 20 years to create the perfect mountain vacation getaway. The ski vacation is no longer the same experience it was in the 1980s when lodgings of marginal quality were considered the norm.

Over the last 10 years western ski resorts have continually expanded their size, quality of facilities, and breadth of services. Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah and Vail Resort in Vail, Colorado have risen to the top of the ski resort show down. Deer Valley Resort has been ranked the #1 Ski Resort in North America by the readers of Ski Magazine in 2001, 2005, 2007, and 2008. Vail Resort held the honor in 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2006.

If you want to give your family the dream holiday that they’ve always deserved, your chance is now. Mediterranean cruises are the perfect idea for your holiday, no matter how many people are in your party. Cruise rates are incredibly low these days, affording families the chance to get away on an all inclusive holiday that they’ll hold dear for an eternity.

When you opt to take a Mediterranean cruise, you’ll be on the perfect vacation. You won’t have to worry about meals, shows or extra costs of any kind. Unlike staying in a hotel at a destination, your cruise ship provides you with all of your meals, beverages and everything else that you require to make your holiday special. You pay one flat fee and you’re set for the duration of the trip.

Many visitors tell us they have a favourite Anglesey beach which they always try returning to whenever they visit the island. With 125 miles of coastline, this Irish Sea island has some outstanding sandy beaches, many of which regularly win European beach awards for water quality standards. Among them are six European Blue Flags and Resort Seaside Awards as well as Green Coast Beaches and a Blue Flag Marina at Holyhead.

We have found it is not necessarily the most accessible beaches on Anglesey which are the ones to head for in search of the perfect location, and so sometimes the effort is well rewarded. On the east side of the island is a soft, sandy Blue flag beach which is not easy to reach as it is at the bottom of a steep, narrow lane. Yet the quiet Llanddona beach sweeps impressively in a north easterly arc flanked by steep lush green terraces and trees, and the approach can be challenging by car. Legend says some witches landed at Llanddona and we must not forget the large haul of silver coins found here by amateur beachcombers.
