The electric bug killer is the best way of clearing your immediate vicinity of insects, especially the flying ones such as mosquitoes. The hand held insect zapper evaporates any insect from a mosquito to a gnat instantly on contact with a pleasingly loud, electrical ‘zap’!

However, this is not to say that the electric insect killer cannot be operated outside, as long as it is not too wet. It should be treated like any other high voltage electrical equipment. Keep the hand held insect zapper dry and please do not use it while you are standing in water!

Costa Rica is a county with a crazy amount of miles of coastlines but the Gulf of Papagayo has some of the most popular beaches of the country. I had heard so much about this area and I was dying to visit it. Finally I got the opportunity to visit it. The specific area of it that I visited is called Playa del Coco. It is located just 25 minutes away from the Liberia International Airport and within walking distance of Coco beach.

If you enjoy travelling and visiting new places, I recommend a cruise. I have cruised the Mediterranean and the Baltic and my next cruise will be a Caribbean cruise. I am really looking forward to it. If you have never been on a cruise, start saving up now, because it is opulence like you have never imagined before.

Never having been on a Caribbean cruise before, I do not know how much the various Caribbean islands differ from one another, so I do not know how varied that cruise would be. However, I have cruised the Med and the Baltic and woken up to a different country every day and in both of those seas and every country is very different from its neighbours.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to go somewhere nice, and private where we could enjoy a family weekend away from work and the city. I had heard from some friends about a place with all those qualities in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica called Finca Chica. So we decided to give it a try.

What we found was a private villa that offers 4 independent casitas of different sizes where you can fit a group, a family and there is even an option for couples. The casitas are scattered around the property with enough separation to allow total privacy. Casa Pizote and La Casita Chica are cute one bedroom bungalows, perfect for couples. On the other hand there is Casa Lagarto with a maximum capacity of 5 people and La Casita del Ro with capacity for up to 6 people.

Going to Tikal? Why what is there? Well let’s start by saying that it is a magnificent, ancient Mayan city and one of the most important ones. It is located in the middle of Guatemala’s northern cloud forest. Its actual name is Tikal National Park in Peten, Guatemala.

I first visited Tikal nine years ago, actually it was where I met my husband. But I came by myself and let me tell you that to get to know this place on your own is a very difficult task.

The Hawaiian party theme would work well being held on the beach, but could also be in a park or in your back garden. The centre point of the party should be your surf shack or beach bar, which ever one you choose.

The Hawaiian theme party is traditionally all about the music, dancing and eating nice food.

Dressing up is essential and the ladies will look fantastic in grass skirts, floral arm bands, a lei necklace, flowers in their hair and even a coconut bra as an added optional.

The men don’t have it as good with the costume i’m afraid. Most guys already have an awful Hawaiian print shirt in their wardrobe, get some matching shorts, some sandals and you’re set. I would though top it off with sunglasses, and floral necklace.

In the 1700′s, dishes, saws, knives, flints, a scraper, a prehistoric horn celt with strange markings, a spokeshave and some arrowheads from the Neolithic Period were found.
