SEA KAYAKING
If speeding up and down the Dubai beaches attached to the back of a speed motorboat is a little too rapid for you, step out of the speedy lane and into a sea kayak, which is as soft or as intense as you wish. For those who’ve experienced a hard day’s shopping and desire to unwind, it’s best.
But for individuals who’ve overindulged at Dubai’s greatest restaurants, you’ll definitely work off the energy with slightly paddle power. Generally there’s the selection of a single or tandem kayak, so there’s no need to be alone on the water. Very best of all, sea kayaking requires no classes or previous experience - just ensure you’ll be able to swim!

This is another of our exciting family adventures in Guatemala. This time my husband and I decided that we wanted to visit Semuc Champey and the Lanquin Caves. For that we had to stay in the nearby town of Cobn. Cobn is a beautiful town located in the Alta Verapaz Department of Guatemala. It is located 1320 meters above sea level so it gets a bit chilly at night. It is also one of the major coffee producers of the country. Plus it is located among mountains and forests that guard one of Guatemala’s treasures: the Monja Blanca Orchid. (this country’s national flower).
It is also the place where the famous Rabin Ahau takes place in july. This is a beauty contest. This is a bit different of what we are used to. In it native Guatemalan women wear their typical dresses and perform a series of presentations that include talking in their mayan language and dancing traditional marimba songs. By the way Rabin Ahau means daughter of the king.

Take a safari into the desert, Dubai’s biggest playground, and discover a whole new way to have fun Dubai is a city that has risen from the sand. Less than two decades ago, the emerging metropolis was a small town surrounded by vast expanses of desert. The gold and pink-hued sands seem a world away from the city’s modern sprawl, yet are undoubtedly an iconic feature of the country.
A trip into the desert tops the list for the majority of visitors to Dubai and offers a combination of thrilling adventure, cultural insight and nature. Experiencing a place where there is nothing but sand as far as the eye can see is both exotic and exhilarating, and best of all, it’s no more than 45 minutes away from the city limits.

1. Canopy Tour: It is an exciting adventure that will take you along zip lines on the forest’s canopy. This is the thing to do in Costa Rica.
2. Hanging Bridges: In them you get one of the most spectacular views of the area. These tours take place in the forest and take you for a relaxing hike along trails and huge bridges over the forest.
3. Sky Tram Tour: This allows you to see animals hiding in the trees. In it you will travel along the forest canopy sitting in gondolas. This is what I like to call the relaxed version of the canopy tour.
4. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve: Here you can explore the cloud forest and learn about its flora and fauna. This is a great place for a relaxing hiking tour. This tour is also famous among birdwatchers

Many of these tours leave the harbour and venture out into the Atlantic Ocean and usually anchor near Clifton or Camps Bay beach to watch the sun set.
The boats and yachts come in various shapes and sizes and can accommodate a varied number of people; so if you have a small or large party there are services that will provide for your needs. A friend of mine and her husband own Tropic Fins Adventures in Puerto Jimenez and invited us to join them on an afternoon In-shore fishing trip. I am not a fisherman and my husband had about as much experience as I did. So none of us knew what to expect.
The name of our captain and guide for this adventure was Cory and he has had over 15 years experience fishing, has taken out professional fishermen and showed them the best times of their lives, yet I feel his job is a lot easier when he’s out with fellow fishermen, rather newbies such as us. Anyway he made our first fishing experience so fun, that my husband is already making plans for another one.
