January 22nd, 2010 · No Comments

by Patty Lauwers

For those planning a trip to the main metropolitan destination in all the world, a New York Pass review might be helpful. A New York Pass allows the holder to access up to fifty different New York City attractions and tours. The pass is simply a smart card with a microchip. This can be a very helpful tool for visitors and tourists looking to take in the sights and sounds of the city.

The pass gives access to a large number of attractions. Among the more famous ones are the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Wax museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim, Museum of Modern Art, financial district tour, Lincoln Center, Top of the Rock, Cloisters, Circle Line and the Queens Zoo to name a few. Aside from access to the attractions the pass also allows for priority entry so there is no standing in long lines. Along with the pass, one also gets a guide that shows the locations of all the different venues.

The Samsung LN52B750 52 Inch LCD TV Reviewed

January 3rd, 2010 · No Comments

by Phil Edgar

Welcome to my review of the new Samsung LN52B750 52 inch LCD HDTV. I would highly recommend to anyone to buy the Samsung LN52B750 LCD HDTV if you’re looking for a new TV for your home.

With a 52 inch screen (measured diagonally) you’ll be blown away. Combining it’s full HD 1080p screen resolution and Samsung’s Auto Motion Plus 240 Hz Technology, you’ll hardly want to leave the sofa. Every picture and image really will amaze you, aswell as your friends and family.

Since I bought my Samsung LN52B750 HDTV, I’ve watched loads of BluRays and DVDs on it. I must tell you that the picture quality really is something else. I also watch plenty of sports and it’s like watching through a window from the directors’ box - the quality is really that good.

Opera Glasses, A Good Method To View All The Action On Stage From Far Away

December 25th, 2009 · No Comments

by Jeff Bridges

Opera Glasses are somewhat like binoculars except that they are for seeing stage performances. The opera houses of yesterday had seats that were free or cheaper for people but they were far away from the stage up on balconies. The stage was so distant that one could only see the figures moving around on stage. Props were nonexistent and seeing the singer or actors face was impossible. Opera glasses would make it a little easier for those sitting in the cheap seats to see what was happening on stage and see what the actors actually looked like. Opera glasses have been in use since the 50’s.

The Phantom of the Opera is a marvelous and poetic performance that will push you through every feeling possible, from terror, to glee, to the pits of depression and back. As you attend this musical masterpiece, remember your opera glasses, to make sure you catch every last detail

Our Story begins in the nineteenth century, and the curtains open to reveal that two business men have purchased an old theater house which is haunted by a spirit. This spirit is that of a genius construction worker who helped build the opera house by the name of Erik. Review:Wicked the Musical with Opera Glasses

September 5th, 2009 · No Comments

by Jeff Bridges

Wicked is an amazing musical, and a storyline you are sure to love. The story is based off of the original movie of the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz. Wicked is the story of how The Wicked Witch of the West got so wicked.

As I sat attended this performance, my thoughts were continually drawn back to the opera glasses I was using for the performance. The costumes through the glasses were delightful, the singing amazing, the characters entrancing, and stage props amazing. Without opera glasses I am sure that I would have missed out on much of the performance, so to full enjoy the experience when you attend, make sure you remember to bring them.

I love how you learn who the good witch, Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West truly are. You learn how they acted growing up. You find out how Glinda, (the good witch) really was.

Electronic Bug Zapper

August 20th, 2009 · No Comments

by Owen Jones

The indoor insect zapper is the best way of clearing the space around you of insects, especially the flying ones such as mosquitoes. The electric bug zapper evaporates any insect from a mosquito to a gnat instantaneously on contact with a pleasingly loud, electrical ‘zap’!

However, this is not to say that the hand held bug zapper cannot be used outside, as long as it is not raining. It should be treated like any other high voltage electrical equipment. Keep the hand held bug killer dry and definitely do not use it while you are standing in the pool!

Models vary greatly, but there are basically only two types of indoor bug killer: the battery operated bug zapper and the rechargeable electric bug killer. Both are equally effective at zapping insects and employ the same principle.

How The Dimage Minolta Digital Camera Compairs!

August 3rd, 2009 · No Comments

by Jeff Jones

I have owned a Nikon Coolpix digital camera for a little over two 1/2 years and in that period of time I have taken over 3k footage. As I checked for cameras with greater zooms, there were 2 I liked the range of- both the Canon Pro1 and the Dimage Minolta. The Dimage Minolta 7X optical zoom provides me a great range between wide angle to telephoto. Due to this wide selection, it is feasible to make many alternative photographs with this remarkable camera.

Another awesome feature that intrigued me to the Dimage Minolta was the anti-shake feature. A camera with a great zoom is not useful if you cannot hold it steady enough to get a great photo. Despite the length of the zoom, the Dimage Minolta camera is incredibly compact and simply fits into my fanny pack which is exactly what I wanted.
