Here are a couple of the places of interest that you are going to enjoy when taking a western european river ship trip. One of these will be Amsterdam. This is a city that is legendary for the hospitality they show to visitors. When stopping here as a part of your river ship trip, you will enjoy going along the canals and seeing the monuments and bridges.

When visiting Amsterdam you will not wish to miss seeing the Anne Frank Museum. The actual area where this young lady hid while writing her famous diaries will allow you to experience what she must have felt all those months.

Going back to the river and onward you will stop in Prague, the capitol of the Czech Republic. This is a very popular tourist destination for those hunting for history and way of life as well as art. The Vitava is the setting for the stone bridge that comes from ancient times.

This is where musicians, actors and artists ply their trades. You will not wish to miss the varied trades you will find on the Charles Bridge. Visiting the castle in Prague will be another tourist spot that you shouldn’t miss. This is a chance to enjoy the cultural sides of this city.

Forward to Florence you’ll be seeing the town that is said to be “the most beautiful city in the world.” The city may be small, but it is stuffed with atmosphere. The pure wonder of the area is one of the most striking you will ever see.

If you try and see too much at a time you’ll run out of time before you have to go back to the river ship. This is certainly an area that requires plenty of time to examine the varied points of interest.
