One day I will tell my grandchildren about the old days when I could fill up my car at the gas station out of pocket change. Those days have gone and even though there are a lot of reasons why we should all try to save on energy consumption to reduce the carbon we all pump out into the air we breath the bottom line is this. We all need to save money on gas and reduce the cost of driving our cars.

I drive a lot of miles every week and I expect you do too. The way we live our lives has developed around the idea that we drive a and use a lot using cheap gas and energy. The automobile is an essential tool for the way of life we have but times are changing fast and we need to develop ways to work with the world as it is today.
