If you want to experience something new Costa Rica is the place for it. Explore its volcanoes, rain forests and enter another world in the cloud forest of Monteverde! The moment you arrive to San Jose your transport will be waiting for you. You will spend your first two nights relaxing in the Central Valley where you can recover your energies after the flight.
The real adventure starts when you go to Arenal where you will stay for four nights. The next day after you arrive to Arenal will be spent with a combination of the exciting Lost Canyon Adventures Canyoneering and Rafting on Ro Balsa that adrenaline seekers will love. After a day filled with excitement you will go on a relaxing boat trip which is also one of the best ways to get to know the Cao Negro Wildlife Reserve.
Your last day in Arenal will be super special. You will go on a great hiking tour that will take you to a unique spectacle. It will take place in the Tenorio Volcano National Park where you will also see lots of wildlife. A 4-hour hike through the tropical rain-forest that ends in ‘Los Tederos’. The place where two rivers come together to form the breathtaking celestial-turquoise blue water that gives Rio Celeste its name.
Now it’s time to visit the Monteverde area. To get from Arenal to Monteverde the best way to travel is on a scenic transfer that will take you for a jeep ride to a small pier where you will hop on a boat for a relaxing ride and then go for a final jeep ride to your hotel.
On your second last day in Monteverde you will go on a guided hiking tour that will take you to a whole new world inside of this one: the Monteverde Cloud Forest where you will enjoy the unique flora, fauna and weather of the region. The next day right before you start your trip back to San Jose you will enjoy a last adventure in Monteverde. Your will go on a canopy tour that includes a hanging bridges tour and a ride in comfortable gondolas over the forest canopy.
When all those trips and tours are over you will be ready to start the way back to San Jose where you will spend your last night of relax in Costa Rica. Towards the end of your Costa Rican Adventure you will be taken back to the international airport in a private transfer.
