The city of London is a great vacation spot. You can enjoy beautiful outdoor scenery by strolling through Trafalgar Square or by taking a cruise on the Thames River. Perhaps youad rather visit Big Ben or the London Eye, or maybe youad prefer to try to unruffled the stony exterior of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Any of these would be wonderful.
One of the most popular tourist destinations is France, and there are many reasons why. Your first stop here might be to Versailles to tour the palace that was constructed by Louis XIV and lived in by Napoleon and Marie Antoinette. You can visit many historic locations here, and the spectacular views make the trip extremely worthwhile.
Other exciting French destinations can be the Eiffel Tower, the cathedral of Notre Dame, and the Louvre. At the Louvre, you should pay special attention to I.M. Peias beautiful yet controversial glass pyramid that adorns the front of the museum.
If you’re looking for a more tropical resort, I can strongly recommend the Central American country Belize, which is host to a myriad of things to do. Aside from relaxing on the beach, you can go snorkeling or scuba diving, cave tubing through underground streams, or go visit ancient Mayan ruins.
A better known destination for many of you would be Cozumel, Mexico. There you can find beautiful beaches and Chankanaab Park, where tourists are allowed to swim with dolphins. You could also go on nature treks or visit the Punta Sur Lighthouse.
A great place to take your children to see as well as just yourself is Washington, D.C> The home of American history and politics, D.C. houses the National Air and Space Museum, many memorials, the White House, the Capitol, as well as the National Mall where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous \”I Have a Dream Speech\”.
Another great American tourist destination is New York City. New York City has many wonderful things to do including: visiting Central Park, seeing some Broadway shows, and going to the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. Not to mention you can always catch a ball game at Yankee Stadium!
