I typically enjoy casual dining where I don’t have to look fantastic. I do feel though that sometimes it is fun to go out to someplace fancy and have a good night. Most people think of Orlando as a place for kids with Theme and Water parks, but there are also some fantastic places to eat. I will tell you about three of my most treasured restaurants in Orlando.
First of all I want to mention the Venetian Room. Located on World Center Drive. It is an impressive place where is would recommend a date or even a proposal. I think this is probably one of the most beautiful places you can eat in Orlando. They have a chef that was trained in Europe and Africa with a resume that includes Emeril’s and Shula’s. The cuisine is European inspired and the atmosphere is world class to say the least. They have a large selection of great wines and cater to all of their guests needs.
Secondly I will have to mention Christini’s Ristorante. It is another fantastic dining experience that you just have to go try. It is located on Dr. Phillips Blvd. in Orlando. You sit within the art and sculptures they have from Italy. They have wonderful classic cuisine and a list of wines to die for. If you want to shock your date or significant other, this place can help you out.
My third choice of Orlando Fancy Dining is Antonio’s Ristorante. It is located in the Fountains Plaza. They have a view of the Florentine fountain. They treat their guests like royalty. It has beautiful wood floors and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen is open so you can see in. It is truly a taste of Tuscany. I feel the food is best of class. They have Italian food made in wood burning ovens. They also have a wine list of 250 wines.
Give Mickey a rest, the next time you are in Orlando check out one of these fine restaurants. You will be glad you did.
